Terms and Conditions

The Casa Simon website is operated by the entity identified below. All identification and contact details are available in this section in compliance with Decree-Law 7/2004 (Electronic Commerce).

These Terms and Conditions apply to all product sales made through the Casa Simon website. Casa Simon reserves the right to change these Terms at any time, committing to publish the updated version on the website. The conditions applicable to each order are those in force at the time the order is placed.

Prices displayed on the website include VAT at the applicable legal rate (23%), unless otherwise stated. Prices are shown in Euros (EUR). Casa Simon strives to display product images and descriptions as accurately as possible; however, minor color or texture variations may occur due to the user's screen settings. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors before confirming the order.

To place an order, the Customer must select the desired products, proceed through the checkout process and complete payment. After submitting the order, the Customer will receive an automatic confirmation email. Casa Simon reserves the right not to accept orders in case of stock shortages, obvious pricing errors or suspected fraud. In such cases, the Customer will be informed and the amount paid will be fully refunded.

Under Decree-Law 24/2014, the Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days from the date on which the Customer or a third party indicated by the Customer acquires physical possession of the goods. To exercise this right, the Customer must communicate the decision to withdraw by email or through the form available on the Contact page. The product must be returned in its original packaging, in perfect condition and accompanied by all accessories and documentation. Casa Simon will reimburse the Customer within a maximum of 14 days after receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method used in the original purchase.

Under Decree-Law 84/2021 (transposing Directive 2019/771/EU), all products sold by Casa Simon benefit from a 2-year legal warranty from the date of delivery. If the product presents a conformity defect, the Customer is entitled to repair or replacement free of charge, or a proportional price reduction or contract termination, as provided by law. To exercise the warranty, the Customer must contact us describing the defect found.

In addition to the right of withdrawal, we accept returns under the terms described in our Returns Policy available on the website. Refunds are processed within a maximum of 14 days after receipt of returned products, using the same payment method used in the purchase.

Casa Simon shows the active payment methods during checkout. The currently available option is bank transfer. MB WAY, Multibanco and card payments will only be shown once contracted and configured through a certified provider.

Casa Simon provides the online Complaints Book, accessible through the official Complaints Book website at www.livroreclamacoes.pt. In the event of a consumer dispute, the Customer may resort to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity. The European Online Dispute Resolution platform is also available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute arising from their interpretation or execution shall be submitted to the competent court of the district of Vila Real de Santo António, without prejudice to the use of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms under applicable law.
