Back to GuidesTo keep towels soft, avoid using too much detergent. Residues accumulated in the fibers can make the pile stiff and reduce absorbency.
Use fabric softener sparingly, as it can create a coating over the fibers. Wash towels separately from items with zippers, velcro, or elements that can pull threads.
After washing, shake each towel before hanging it up. This helps loosen the fibers. If using a tumble dryer, choose a moderate temperature.
Only store towels when they are completely dry, in a clean and well-ventilated place.
