Decorative cushions help quickly change the atmosphere of a living room or bedroom. Start by choosing sizes suitable for the sofa, armchair, or bed. Combine two or three different dimensions to create depth, while keeping enough space for comfortable use. Firmer fillings help maintain the shape, while softer fillings create a relaxed look. Choose removable covers whenever possible, as they are easier to wash and replace. Mix solid fabrics with a statement texture or pattern. For a balanced result, repeat some of the colors present in curtains, rugs, or other elements of the space in the cushions.
